About us

GreenTNT.org was born from the vision of Monique Walker with the aim of giving the people of Trinidad and Tobago access to information on preserving the environment, with relevance to Trinidad and Tobago. It was launched in March 2008 as a website www.greentnt.org and a Facebook group GreenTnT.org .

Born, bred and raised in sweet T&T, I am proud to be 100% Trini. But I am saddened and angered by the destruction some of my fellow Trini's do to our beautiful twin islands without a second thought about how it will affect the generations to come.

The website was created with the aim of

• giving the people of Trinidad and Tobago the information required to preserve their environment
• highlighting areas that need urgent attention
• providing a forum to discuss issues
• raising the awareness of citizens and giving them the information they need to be the change

Armed with this knowledge, we need to come together as a people and save our country. Teach the kids at home and in school what needs to be done and it will become second nature to them. Believe in something bigger than yourself and keep T&T the paradise that it is!
