Published: 24 Feb 2010
In keeping with the Water and Sewage Authority (WASA) and the Trinidad and Tobago Government’s water conservation policy, the Sport Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SPORTT) wishes to advise the public of the following:
• After consultation with WASA, SPORTT has begun to store recycled water for ongoing use in the maintenance of all theirr national facilities, sport projects and community grounds.
• This water is unfit for human consumption and in no way affects the supply of potable drinking water that is available to the public. SPORTT has assured the public at large that they will continue to work with WASA to ensure that all of their projects adhere to all rules and regulations for the ongoing water conservation programme.
